Fintech Tuesdays (FTT) is a grassroots community, the first of its type in the MENA region, focussed on supporting the fintech & techfin startups in the region. We are currently present in the UAE with a clear intent to expand across the key nations in the region. Our vision is to be the leading catalyst for fintech innovation in the region. Our Mission is to inspire, unite and build the region’s most impactful FinTech community by fostering collaboration, driving inclusivity and providing access to capital.

Fintech Surge is bringing one-of-a-kind, all-inclusive networking lounge powered by Fintech Tuesdays encouraging authentic interactions between hundreds of renowned speakers and Fintech experts. Fintech Surge and Fintech Tuesdays joining forces is a testament to the UAE's commitment to pioneering fintech solutions at the grassroots level. Together, they bridge the gap between global ambition and local brilliance.

The FTT Lounge fosters meaningful fintech discussions, networking, and collaboration on key industry topics while advocating for diversity, innovation, and community growth. It supports fintechs from early stages to exits, providing insights into their journey, value proposition, future story, PMF, and business model.

"Unplugged by Fintech Tuesdays" is a unique event designed to create a special, intimate space for in-depth discussions and networking within the fintech community. Held in our dedicated pavilion at the Fintech Surge arena, this event focuses on candid, off-the-record conversations with leading fintechs.

Participants will share insights on their journey, value proposition, future vision, product-market fit (PMF), and business models. The session will feature a diverse range of fintechs across various categories, offering a broad spectrum of use cases and enterprises.

The event aims to:

  • Build and Grow an Inclusive Community: Facilitate meaningful interactions and discussions among fintech leaders and members.
  • Support Fintechs from Early Stage to Exits: Provide a platform for fintechs at various stages of their development to share their experiences.

Each shortlisted fintech will get about 20 minutes to present and 10 minutes for Q&A. The audience will be attendees of Fintech Surge including financial institutions, other fintechs, regulators, investors and infrastructure providers.

Information to participants

Selection Process

  • Based on a rigorous selection process, up to 10 Fintechs will be selected to present at Unplugged by Fintech Tuesdays at Fintech Surge.
  • The decision of the Fintech Tuesdays team will be final.

Information for Shortlisted participants

  • Finalists will have to prepare their presentations and send it before Oct 10 to info@fintechtuesdays.com.
  • On the event day, shortlisted fintechs will each have 20 minutes to present their insights and 10 minutes for a Q&A session.
  • Finalist will receive passes to the Fintech Surge Event.
  • Finalists will have to make arrangements for travel to-and-from the venue.
  • Accommodation will not be provided.
  • The Unplugged by Fintech Tuesdays session is on October 13 at Fintech Surge, Dubai
